About Stripe Interiors
With over 30 years of experience in home furnishings, Stripe Interiors specialises in creating unique curtains, blinds and upholstery for homes and commercial spaces across London and Hertfordshire.
Sarah Stripe, Founder & Creative Director
Sarah grew up hand sewing with her great-aunt, and textiles have stayed close to her ever since. She studied for a textile diploma at the College for Distributive Trades in London alongside a buying role, and she's since become an AMUSF-trained upholsterer and soft furnisher who has brought her craft to life at Stripe Interiors since 2010.
Before launching the business, she worked in global sourcing for major retailers including Bloomingdale's and Target, travelling extensively with their buying teams across Africa, India, China and Chile. That hands-on experience with makers, materials and international production now informs her approach to every project, blending creativity, craftsmanship and quiet elegance in homes across the UK. She understands how good design works, not just how it looks, but how it feels, functions, and lasts. Clients value her calm, collaborative approach and her instinct for pulling together a scheme that feels effortlessly "right."
Bespoke projects remain at the heart of what we do. Every curtain, blind and upholstered piece is made to measure, guided by an in-home consultation and fitted by experienced hands, so it works as it should and looks right in your space.
We work with a carefully selected range of fabric houses, including Linwood, Romo, Sanderson, Morris & Co, Andrew Martin, Harlequin and Designers Guild, chosen for quality, texture and longevity rather than trend cycles.
